The customary first post. I’m not even sure why I built this blog when I already got twitter and I could’ve made a substack. There’s no possibility of discoverability. No obvious incentive and it’s clearly not 2009 anymore.
Do I like designing shit or am I a programmer or a political dissident in exile? hmm no? I guess I like writing and I like my own space. I’m not even tryiny to sound clever and it probably doesn’t make any sense, but social media is claustophobic as hell. Which sounds silly when you account for the mass psychosis, not so subtle social engineering, deranged libtard propagandizing which is defintely not subtle and the boomer criticisms are valid too.
And I’m not LAPRing as a back to the personal web era the golden age of the blog purist. I’m trying to keep it more casual. Definitely not a commie or a trans furry or both either. I see this trope a lot. You checkout Neocities(supposedly spearheading the personal website thingy) and there’re literally only furry’s and gays. FUCK. And the other side of the table is corpo slop CV sites. meh
