Reversing the Gaze: Amar Singh's diary - The original sensitive young man. The chapter on the Boxer Rebellion and days in the Imperial service corp are my favourite. Good primary source for military history enthusiasts.
The complete works of Swami Vivekananda(9 volumes) - Do not expect a rigourous and complete explanation for Vedanta. At best an initiation. A very good initiation.
